There is nothing the left fears more than a conservative, pro-life, pro-family, pro-gun woman. Perhaps that explains why Newsweek has chosen such an unflattering cover this week featuring Michele Bachmann looking like a crazy person.

We as a nation must live within our means. Forgive me if that sounds over-simplified or antiquated. The president and Congress must follow the example of many of the families in America who understand that they cannot spend and borrow in endless rotation.

Once someone lies to cover up a mistake, in this case several mistakes, it’s hard to stop. Lying about one thing will inevitably lead to being dishonest about something else and so on. It doesn’t end until the truth finally comes out, and it always will.
