Why are so many Americans hostile to our biggest media outlets? Because almost all the major networks and newspapers in this country are operated by liberals while three-quarters of the people in our country describe themselves as moderate or conservative.

With 21 million Americans out of work or not able to find full-time jobs, and with small businesses continuing to struggle for credit, maybe President Obama could do more than his fair share by turning over some of his campaign cash to small business to boost the economy.

In 2012 it appears that President Obama has molded his campaign with conflict and anger, tapping into the deep-seated resentments that he believes defines our nation. He will continue to blame our dawdling economy on the rich and on Congress.
This is not only the most depressing and meager of platforms, it isn’t smart.

Right now in the United States of America our country wants to see a banker sent to prison. In the bankruptcy of MF Global, one person seems responsible – for the giant bet on European sovereign debt that wrecked the firm, and for the loss of $1.2 billion of customer money. That person would be former MF Global CEO Jon Corzine.

As a steward of the nation’s purse during the financial crisis Congressman Barney Frank may not have succeeded, but he did quite well personally. Unusually, Mr. Frank’s personal finances sailed right through the downturn. In 2006 he reported assets valued between $525,020 and $1.6 million; by 2010 Mr. Franks’ net worth had soared to between $1.9 million and $4.6 million, with nary a down year in between.

An ObamaCare win at the Supreme Court could be touted as a victory; but what a hollow one it would be. Unless the economy surges ahead, shortening unemployment lines, the nation will not celebrate the president's signature health care law, viewed now as the Great Sidetrack.
