Tuesday GOP debate put the spotlight on our national security and differences between all the candidates and President Obama. But the biggest contrast will be later, between Obama and the GOP standard bearer. They will disagree on issues like how to stop Iran’s nuclear weapons program, how to end the Afghan war, and defense cuts. But at the core, Americans want to know which candidate can restore America’s faith in itself.

If the Super Committee fails to find a budget solution this week, the automatic, poison pill defense cuts will chop nearly 25 percent across the board on every line item in the military budget. Commanders won’t be allowed to pick and choose or prioritize. Everything will get hit and the cuts will begin almost immediately.

Reports are that Libyan strongman Muammar Qaddafi is dead but I'm less concerned with Qaddafi and much more concerned about his weapons of mass destruction. He reportedly hid WMD all over his country.
