I think I can speak for most Democrats in applauding Governor Palin's decision. Now she joins Rush Limbaugh, Newt Gingrich, John Ensign, and a certain governor of South Carolina in becoming another one of the public faces of the Republican Party. Who could ask for anything more?

Anyone else notice the silence? Listen to what you don't hear in the Age of Obama. Since Barack Obama has been sworn in as the 44th president the lack of rancor and angry debate on abortion, guns, and gays has been stunning.
