    I am still dealing with this necrosis of the jaw.  One of my wonderful blog readers recommended a doctor in Miami who specializes in jaw problems.  After five doctors telling me there is nothing I can do, and that I had to "live with it,"  I turned to all of you, and you saved me

    Last week I was taken off my phase one clinical trial drug temporarily, because my blood counts were so low.  My white count was .5,  which many of you will know is critically low. Two weeks earlier, it was my red cell count that had fallen, for which I received blood transfusions

    This was another sad week for me, as another girlfriend was laid to rest after fighting this dreaded disease. That's three girlfriends this year. I guess this is why I continue to fight not only my own monster within me, but fight to raise money to put this disease out of business
