Military sources tell a local Hebrew Newspaper that the Israeli Air Force has deployed a US made Patriot Missiles battery to Haifa in northern Israel as tensions mounted over the weekend flight of a drone into Israeli airspace.

The Bank of China knowingly laundered money for various Islamic Militant groups so they could get around transaction restrictions because of their label as a "terrorist organization" by the US Government, claims a lawsuit by Israeli victims of suicide bombings. Recent court decisions in the United States say the lawsuits can go forward against the Chinese bank.

Former U.S. Secretary of State James Baker had a great line he used when dodging a reporter’s question, “couldn’t say” he would remark with a broad smile or twinkle in the eye as the situation warranted. Here in Israel, they know a thing or two about assassinating their wanted ‘terrorists’; they are also experts at saying ‘couldn’t say’.

Hamas’ use of a Russian made laser guided anti tank missile against a school bus marks a clear change in the strategic balance along the fragile Gaza/Israel border; by either fate or perhaps design the Hamas attack comes just as Israel deployed their “Iron Dome” missile defense system that has rendered Hamas’ Grad rockets almost useless against civilian targets.
